Shabad Translation in English:

The Almighty God remains submerged into His creations. The benevolent Master keeps showering His blessings on His servants.

Those who remain devoted to the Creator, are looked after by Him at every moment for all their needs.

God has released me from the fear of the death and has embraced me into His service.  And, I am so pleased by this.

His devotes do as it pleases their Master.  And so, they happen to get enlightened.

O Master, you are aware of all that is happening, and Your devotes glow in your love.

The All Mighty Lord gives all to His devotes, and they remain blessed in His company.

Those who are dressed in Lord’s honour, need never fear of any censure of their conduct.

Nanak is a sacrifice to such a devote, who is a pearl of the deep and unfathomable ocean of God.

Shabad Veyakheya in Punjabi:

  3. Please keep on doing this most wonderful Parchaar of Gurmat via ilahi Gurbani. This wya of Gurmat Parchar using the latest IT technology multimedia is most pleasing when most “commercial” ragis spend so much time and effort on “looking good” via matching dastaars, silky clothes, large shining kirpans and gatras, etc etc, there is NO EFFORT to show the actual GURBANI that is being sung. So all we see are the handsome ragis for the netire duration and no one ever sees the actual Gurbani or the Aang of the shabad etc and so virtually no oen cna remember what shabad was sung. The ragis have made the Gurbani into the “background” that is invisible and projected themsleves as the be all and end all of the KIRTAN VIDEOS.
    Keep in Chardeekalla always..
May the Guru Ji bless you always.

  4. I am Glad that Gurbani VICHAAR as the vital component of Gurbani Kirtan is being used in these videos to maximum impact. Gurbani is for listening….UNDERSTANDING..and finally FOLLOWING its Message so as to Chnage and adapt our daily Lives for the Better. Merely “singing” is of minimal value…understanding comes next..and then most important of all “Follwoing: the Message so that our lives undergo chnages and we become worthy GURMUKHS as described in the Gurbani we sing/read daily. Such Gurmukhs have the ability to attract others to see and search the Gurbani for themsleves..for too long Sikhs have fallen into the ways of lip service…mere singing and bowing, without any effort to adopt the changes Gurbani recommends, without using the “tools” that the Toolbox of SGGS provides for us to chnage our lives for the better.

    • Dr. Manbir Singh says:

      Respected Jarnail Singh ji,
We are honored by your visit to the Blog of Gurmat Gian Group and by your valuable Vichar. You have said it All in so many few words. Yes, Singing/Listening is a small part of the whole process of Gurbani. Understanding and finally Following the Message is The Most Important aspect. We humans do get struck in between and miss the chance to become Gurmukhs as described in the Gurbani.
Just to inform you, a new Album of 6 CDs which is a Compilation of All the Shudh 31 Raags of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, is ready and may be released in the month of Nov. this year.
Your Blessings and Guru’s Kirpa would help us to keep singing Guru’s Bani. Keep giving us your valuable suggestions.
